In today's industrial field, carbide tools such as cutting tools, oil well drill bits, impact rock drill bits, etc. are gradually replacing traditional tool materials due to their excellent thermal, mechanical, and chemical properties. This high-quality tool is made from tungsten carbide powder (WC powder) as its core material, which is produced through a special process of powder metallurgy.

Tungsten carbide powder
Tungsten carbide powder is a black hexagonal crystal powder with a metallic luster, a melting point of up to 2870 ℃, and a boiling point of up to 6000 ℃. Its hardness is comparable to diamond, and it has good electrical and thermal conductivity. At room temperature, the relative density of WC powder is about 15.63g/cm ³, and it is insoluble in water, hydrochloric acid, and sulfuric acid, but can easily dissolve in mixed acids such as nitric acid hydrofluoric acid.
